This amazing retired Royal Doulton "Old Mother Hubbard" figurine is by Mary Nicoll HN 2314. This piece was first introduced in 1960's. It depicts shop an a grandma feeding a bone to her beautiful and detailed brown dog. She is wearing a long green dress with a white polka dot apron, green shawl and black shoes. The details of this piece look very realistic. Her beautiful face and white hair are incredibly detailed. She is wearing a green house bonnet. This piece is very difficult to find in this great condition. The figurine is high glazed. It's 8" tall. This piece is from the Literary collection.
