This is lovely Flying Geese throw shop size quilt made by the ladies of a church group. Pains were taken to have coordinating triangles and sashing. Each goose (triangle :)) was put together in a meticulous way, and the whole thing quilted with a long arm quilting machine. The back has strips of the same sashing that is on the top. As with all vintage quilts, this one will show signs of age, wear and use such as loose threads, generalized fading, seam breaks and what not. The sun is out this morning and the pictures are not quite the correct shade. I did not have my measuring tape handy, but it looks like 80x60 because it's on top of my 80x60 queen bed.
