From the late 1800's, early 1900's, this is an antique ornate brass inkwell in great antique shop condition. The lid is broken off, but still very functional. There's some scratches due to age and use. It has the letter "Y" imprinted on the bottom, but no amount of research unearthed what it means! The inkwell itself is a small glass insert.
