Product code: BERLINER shop GRAMOPHONE 1899
Berliner Gramophone Shellac 45 Record manufactured 3/29/1899 making this record, 123 years old! Berliner Gramophone discs, identified with an etched-in "E. Berliner's Gramophone" as the logo – was the first disc record label in the world. Its records were played on Emile Berliner's shop invention, the Gramophone, which competed with the wax cylinder–playing phonographs that were more common in the 1890s. Extremely rare!! Record had been tested and still plays! Must have 78 rpm capabilities to play this record. Heavy crackle in the audio but still awesome to know this record was recorded over 120 years ago!.
