This set is top quality pewter made by Royal Selangor in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, they have been making pewter ware since 1885. It is the Sovereign ‘Queen Anne' style designed by its first creative head Anders Quistgaard, first sold in 1981, . The teapot has a pear-shaped panelled body. Ebonite insulates the handle of the teapot, and it has a Bakelite finial. All pieces are hand finished. This set is in good condition, with no dents. The teapot does have some small dark marks that may come off with more rigorous cleaning. Having a vintage patina or polished to shine, these pewters, because of their high purity, require very little maintenance.
