RARE Set of 4 Blakely Oil & Gasoline Clear Etched shop Cactus Low Ball Whiskey Glass We are selling 3 sets of 4 glasses. 12 total of Crystal Etched Glasses designed with etched Saguaro cactus . 6 oz • 3.5 in X 3.5 in Excellent condition - no chips This is the highly collectible set of Blakely Oil and Gas Company's Etched Saguaro Series. Many of the painted glasses are still available but the etched clear Crystal Saguaro Glasses are hard to find. The first Blakely station starts in 1937 by Charles Blakely. They promoted premiums such as dishes and glasses as an incentive to buy gasoline from their stations. Premiums were exchanged for coupons given free with each purchase of 10 gallons of gasoline during the 1950s and early 1960s. At the company's peak, there are 88 Blakely stations throughout Arizona, California and Nevada. Gulf Oil Company bought out Blakely in 1963.
