Beautiful Mikawachi Yaki Porcelain Japanese Open Handled 5 Pc Serving Set with 1 Tray and 4 Dishes. Beautifully Scrolling blue grapes shop leaves and purple grapes. Wonderfult example of Mikawachi Ware pure white porcelain produced in the kilns around Sasebo in Nagasaki prefecture. Great shape with slightly scalloped edges and rolled rope open handles. Great visual interest. See the photos. Each piece has an impressed Mikawachi artist/kiln mark. See the photos. Circa1960s, 1970s. Japan. The tray is Approx. 12" Long X 9" Wide X 1.75" Tall. The dishes are Approx. 6.1" Long X 4.25" Wide X 0.9" Tall. Excellent previously owned vintage condition. No damage. There may be some signs of age or use, but I did not see any and they do not like they have ever been used. The box itself has a broken corner and some dings, dust/dirt.
