I bought this approximately 1 year ago. I've always dismantled and cleaned throughly as per the instructions in the manual. I do not have the box it came with nor the manual (I just have it downloaded to my phone). I do have an extra brush and the storage tray it came with. Absolutely nothing wrong with this, I just upgraded to the cordless shop version.
