This rare vintage 1992 Austin Sculpture featuring Shou Lao "God of Longevity" looks amazing. he is complete with his separate hand carved wooden dragon staff which is in excellent condition. The beautiful aged weathered patina is in remarkably great condition for a vintage piece. Shou Lao has a pronounced bald head and long flowing beard, He stands tall upon a giant turtle's back which has a Chinese dragon's fearsome head and tail. He is adorned with a beautiful, detailed robe, and he holds a carved dragon head wooden staff in one hand holds the "Peach of immortality" in the other. The sculpture weighs approx. 9lbs. 12 oz. It measures 17" tall 10" wide 8" deep. Made by Austin Productions Inc. Non smoking pet free home shop. I purchased this at an auction and didn't realize till I was taking photos that his staff has been cracked near the dragons head and repaired. That is why I have dropped my price by $100.
