"The Ravings of a Writer"~ is a Large Sketchbook that has been totally created to give so much depth and illusion that it is actually quite inspirational for any artist!  The pages are pure white and Perforated, so you may remove your precious art and display it!  The front cover is a Raven printed on a page from a shop 1960's Dictionary.  It has been given a charcoal-like appearance and the edges are made to look like they have been burned out to emphasize the Raven in all of its glory.  The Caligraphy pen attached to the book is a metal feather and some real pheasant feathers attached to a real nib and then embellished further.  This gives depth and is truly beautiful.  The eyes of the Raven, as well as the droplets coming from the nib of the calligraphy pen, are cabochons that have been painted in alcohol inks. The word "Inspire" is at the top corner, hoping to lend a little inspiration to the artist holding it! The book's back cover is done to match the front beautifully. 10.5x11.5x2.
