For the NHL's 75th anniversary season in 1991-92, each original 6 team occasionally wore a “Turn Back The Clock” (TBTC) third jersey. Chicago's TBTC jerseys were replicas of their 1940 “Black Hawks” jerseys. The Hawks would break out another set of these jerseys for one last game on Jan 27, 1994 vs the Red Wings, who also wore a set of their TBTC jerseys. This was done to commemorate the final season of Chicago Stadium.
