Prototype Garfield 18 inches & Odie 22 inches Plush Vintage 1978 Fine Toy Co RARE Sample Set of 2. This set of two plush have kind of a terry cloth feel or more likely Chenille fabric and are "floppy" Stuffed animals. Both have paper tags (really interesting read inside!) and both are sample prototype pre-production plush as shown by paper tags and tush tags. Garfield does have significant discoloration on belly as shown in photos. His tag remarks section has the number 1501 where as Odies is empty... possibly that is referring to the discoloration? Odie's style tag says 59741 and Garfield's is shop 59740. Really cool set for the serious collector! For ages 3 and up.
