Product code: King of New York Movie Poster OG Italian Vintage Christopher shop Walken/Abel Ferrara
The Paper This is a vintage original Italian locandina movie poster for the cult classic, most under appreciated gangster film of all time, Abel Ferrara's King of New York. This 1990 initial release King of New York Italian shop locandina is single/sided, ROLLED, measures 13x28”, and is in unused near mint condition. The Film King of New York is directed by the mad genius of the moody movie, Abel Ferrara, and stars Laurence Fishbourne (who steals every scene), Steve Buscemi, Giancarlo Esposito, Wesley Snipes, David Caruso, Victor Argo, Teresa Randle, James Lorinz, Robert LaSardo, and the always amazing Christopher Walken, who embodies Frank White. I thought I was a huge fan of this hypnotic hyper violent masterpiece, then I heard The Notorious BIG rapping, “Scarface, King of New York, I want to be it”, and asking to be called Frank White, the man who completely takes over the entire New York City drug trade with machine gun force all to fund and reopen hospitals in the inner city. Poetry.
