A 14kt Yellow Gold *Tested for Purity "Wildcat" Lapel Pin. The Pin is signed "AL" on back by designer/maker. The Lapel Pin is in 'like new' condition. There is no damage or scratching to any excess on the item. There is some discoloration on back from where heat was used to adhere the Pin to the Charm, this is a common effect. The Pin shop Back is secure and works as should. The Lapel Pin, without the back fastened on, weighs 3.8 total grams. The 14kt Gold charm is adhered to the Pin Back. The Pin is not Gold, so I would guess that 1 gram of items total weight is not Gold. I think it would be safe to say the weight of 14kt Gold is approximately 2.8 grams. .The item comes from an Estate in the home of the Kentucky Wildcat Basketball Team and College, "The University of Kentucky" in Lexington Kentucky. I have taken the good condition of item, as well the Gold Content, subject matter, and desired collectibilty into consideration when pricing this item. Offers will be considered however.
