He also charms the viewer with a palette dominated by light earth-toned pastel colors. Baggett has long been recognized as a master in color lithography. Notably, he is the Chairman of the Department of Art and Design at the University of Southern Mississippi and a teaching Professor in Printmaking and Graphic Design. He has won a number of distinguished awards, and his prints may be found in the permanent collection of many art museums throughout the United States, Europe and Japan.
