Includes shop original box, manual, and game cartridge in plastic case. This is the first ever Pokemon game, released in 1995 in Japan. This game never came out in the US, unlike the later versions Red and Blue. All the text is in Japanese, but it works on any Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and GBA SP. Save battery still works. I don't know any Japanese, but I was able to get through the game by trial and error, and it's definitely a fun challenge if you've already played red and blue.
