This is a Sunbonnet Sue handmade vintage quilt. 87”×78” This quilt's size provides full coverage on a Twin size bed, but probably would work best on a Full size bed. Displayed in photos on a Queen size bed. Could also work as a King size coverlet.r Top features patchwork Sunbonnet Sue pattern. Pastel colors featured, most significantly Sage green, Soft blue and Yellow. Top stitched and hand embroidered.r Back is a floral print featuring roses in taupe and purple on a green background. Back is tied with blue embroidery floss.r Material is smooth, quilt shop is lightweight. Good preowned condition. There is an ink inscription on top towards bottom that reads “5-2013 To Laura From Grandma" and some evidence of a seam or two that was ripped out and redone (apparently Grandma made a mistake, she fixed it though and current structure is great). All flaws are visible in photos. Held up well during a thorough cleaning and tumble dry. Coming to you machine washed in hot water, smoke-free.
