Vintage Early Mexican Uriarte Puebla Talavera Bird Pottery Cobalt Blue Signed Teapot. 7.5" high, 7" wide, spout to handle. Good condition. No cracks or crazing, shop but there are a few chips (2 on lid's edge and 2 on spout) which is to be expected given this teapot's age. Note.. The line running horizontally around the teapot appx one-third down from the top is a slight ridge in the clay before it was fired; it's not a crack. A bit challenging to photograph. Will be packaged carefully and shipped quickly from a smoke-free environment.
