Thanhardt-Burger Corp. Gilded Chalkware Woman Bust shop Figurine (Laporte, Ind.) We believe this little tabletop bust is straight out of the 1970s. She's gold leaf brushed chalkware on a heavy marble/stone stand. The original Thanhardt sticker is on the bottom of the bust, with a small green felt square to protect the surface it sits on. Back in the day, TBC made these small gold chalk ware busts but now they specialize in frames - this is a special piece! She has little to no defects. The gold leaf is faded or agedly cracked in some areas and the black square has some aging that we have no attempted to clean or shine without the proper tools, but otherwise she is in good vintage condition - ready to sit on your book shelf!
