Set of 4 genuine mid century Dorothy Thorpe sterling band flared bowls. Can be used for salad, fruit, dessert, or even candle holders and decor. I'm picturing a long centerpiece with garland, leaves or flowers with these beauties holding candles for a warm and festive holiday gathering. But something like a chocolate sundae would be equally appealing! You could also use them to finish off your charcuterie presentation with nuts and other small shop bites. The bowls include a genuine sterling silver band that will tarnish as seen in photos. If your silver band dishes and glassware don't tarnish they're likely not vintage. I polished one bowl and left the others tarnished in the photos so you can see the difference. I will polish all four of them upon request. I use silver polish cloths (example pictured) and it takes no time at all to polish them up. Measures 5" at the rim.
