Overview: Up for sale is a really colorful and impressive harborscape oil painting on artist's board. The painting depicts a couple of sailboats in an inlet harbor, surrounded by dockhouses. It is signed "Carl Inman" at lower left. The painting is really well-done, showing a deft touch. I love the light blues of the sky and ocean offset by the deep oranges of the rocks and buildings. I haven't found any information on the artist, but it appears to be midcentury based on the board and style and reminds me very much of the Rockport school. Painting is unframed. Condition: The painting is in very shop good condition. I don't see any particular issues, apart from age. Please see the photos. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 20 inches wide x 11.5 inches high.
