Navy Palms Cotton Fabric light-weight - 35” L x 56” W Amber Gold Silk or Rayon (see details below) medium-weight - 116” (3.22 yds) L x 54” W Squash Yellow Cotton Blend medium-weight - 105” (2.91 yds) L x 58” W Amber gold fabric seems strong candidate for silk as opposed to rayon specifically b/c it stops burning away from flame, ash forms soft crushable black bead. Based on a squeeze test, if ironed and then scrunched up in hand for 5 to 10 seconds, creases appear that cannot be smoothed away. Great drape Squash yellow fabric is tricky since fabric itself has stretch but there is no stickiness/melt or hard ash shop after burning. Burns fast, smell like wood or paper burning and leaves behind soft, crushable black ash. Good structure, less drape.
