Vintage 17 piece set of MELAMINE dinnerware in wonderful condition. Four 10 inch dinner plates. Four 3 inch high x 4 inch wide tea/coffee cups with bamboo wrapped handles. Four 5 1/2 inch tea/coffee cup saucers. Four 6 1/4 inch bread / salad plates. One black 13 7/8 inch Asian style round tray that rounds out the lot. Pieces are decorated with the hand painted Chinese characters zhen wei and the signature of A.K. LAMOYNE Original on the base of most shop pieces. All pieces signed except for the cups. All pieces are red with black design except that tray is black with red design. These are showcased at the Dinnerware Museum in Ann Arbor, Michigan. All are in excellent vintage MCM condition except the large tray. All dishes show no signs of wear or scratches or chips. The tray has many very tiny scratches most likely from use. See photos. Some wear on Chinese characters on cups most likely due to stacking.
