Japanese Cast Iron Tea Pot Cherry Blossom Pattern Bought personally in Japan. This teapot is cast iron with a Cherry Blossom pattern covering the outside and lid. It has a wire/mesh filter basket for loose tea or tea bags. Inside is coated to prevent rusting. The teapot is stamped on the bottom with insignia and Made in Japan. The teapot is a shop good weight and weighs about 4-5 pounds. It is about 6in across from spout to side, 6in tall from bottom to the top of the handle, and 2 1/2in deep inside. Good for use or for decoration and never been used.
