Oh, the history! Antique Copper Kettle, two handled (one copper, one wooden swing), copper rivets, weighs almost 5 lbs. Stands 11.5" high, just under 10" across base, & opening is 4.25" Dates to the mid-late 1800's. These kettles were used by ranch hands while they worked away from the ranch. They were also used in the kitchens of US Navy battleships. Imagine 4 of them on a stovetop! Good condition, wear expected with age. Minor small dents but for over 100 yrs old I'm surprised it isn't all banged up! The color has aged beautifully. Alas, it's missing the lid. Excellent antique find.
