Product code: Shop Information about Seed Beads & Beads
I am setting this up for the express purpose of education, not sales. Click on the pictures to see clearly. I have had several less than great ratings left because someone thinks there is a "normal" size seed bead or because the sizing I ALWAYS give is not understood. Perhaps because if you are not a shop beader you don't understand seed bead sizing. I've been beading for 4 decades so I sometimes forget not everyone knows about seed beads. Most understand the millimeter (mm) sizing but seed beads are a whole different animal. Unlike most beads, the smaller the number, ie 2/0 the LARGER the seed bead so a 15/0 seed bead is TINY and most use a beading thread rather than beading wire for those. I usually try to take pictures of my beads with a coin to indicate size but with seed beads I haven't done that because in most cases it isn't a good way to distinguish sizing so I use the 2/0, 6/0, 8/0 etc. I hope this helps you understand better to know what you are buying. Questions - please ask.
