First 2 books in Tad Williams' "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn" trilogy. (Missing book shop #3) Vintage hard covers with dust jackets. Book #1 (The Dragonbone Chair) is 1988 first edition (but NOT 1st printing). Book #2 (Stone of Farewell) is true first edition/1st printing. NOT book club editions. Each book includes appendix in back with "people, places, and things" descriptions plus pronunciation guide. Good condition or better. Dragonbone: Dust jacket has edgewear including rip at bottom of spine (photo #6) and also scuff marks/indentations (seen under glare photo #7). Black marks on page edges and a small speck on the back cover (both in photo #8), otherwise book appears quite clean in nice shape. Farewell: Dust jacket has typical minor edgewear and scuffs. Small mark on cover. There is a little nick on bottom of several pages (photo #12) but it doesn't affect much. Overall very nice rare copy.
