Beautiful Vintage Japanese H.F.T.C. Matte Black on White with Hand Painted 24K Gold Landscape Watermil Artwork Porcelain Tea Set. Covered Teapot, Sugar and Creamer. SEE THE CONDITION NOTES. This is a very RARE and Hard to Find Japanese Antique Set. It appears to be a Kutiani decorated set. Great artwork with lots of colorful details on matte black. I have more matching pieces listed elsewhere including a couple of lithophane cups. Marked HANDPAINTED / 24K. G. / H.F.T.C. under the foot. The decoration and borders point these being by Kutani. Circa early to mid shop 1900s. Japan. The Teapot is Approx.8" Handle to Spout X 6” Diameter X 3.75” Tall. The Creamer is Approx.5.5" Handle to Spout X 3.9” Diameter X 3.35” Tall. The Sugar is Approx 6" Handle to Spout X 4.4” Diameter X 3.7” Tall. The TeaPot has been repaired somewhat crudely. Priced accordingly. The other pieces are in Good previously owned antique condition.
