Extreme nostalgia alert with this rare 1978 Expert Builder Auto Chassis set! Also sold as set number 853 Auto shop Chassis in other parts of the world, this is a classic set credited with inspiring many of today's engineers and mechanics. A very large and complicated set at the time, weighing in at 600+ pieces. Many of us remember building this set and understanding how the engine and steering went together, and enjoying 'driving' the finished car as we impressed our parent. Also includes original building instruction manual which is enclosed within the box front flap. Original box is included. (Fair condition, good for age.) Note, do not know if pieces are all there. Box is ripped on top corner as shown in pictures. Sold AS IS.
