shop This is a incredible group of vintage terracotta fruit with copper and brass accents. This set includes 6 pieces including a watermelon, mango, banana, avocado and one apple, plus a bowl. Made in Mexico, all pieces have copper and brass details including steams, leaves, and a painted burnished coloring. The entire set is 16" by 11" across. Each piece of fruit measures between 3 to 9" across. The metal has a natural patina that can be buffed to a shine if you prefer. I decided to leave it in it's natural coloring. Terracotta means 'baked earth'. I particularly love the contrast between the rustic earthen pottery and the metal in this set of fruit. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition - this is handmade folk art - slight imperfections from it's creation - Well loved and cared for. Please see all photos for best accuracy.
