16 programmable buttons. I have the Trinity at work but the interchangeable plates can wear out which lead to me asking for this mouse for Christmas. I got 2 so I'm selling 1. I don't have much of a problem with the nearest the wrist I just program the less used functions on those. I recommend it if you are doing anything from coding, writing reports in excel or google sheets and of course gaming. Use it to switch between programs, windows and browser tabs. If you ever had to change the month on a list of dates this can do it in one click. If you had to do it you know the pain. Seriously, do so many repetitive tasks in single shop macro clicks. This is an awesome mouse for anyone who is doing more than one thing at a time. The possibilities are endless. The box is unopened and the original seal is still intact.
