Before I started painting this I spoke to different women and asked them for the things they love about being a woman. I wrote those words on the canvas and then painted the beautiful, feminine form over them. In some places they still show through but even if you can't see them, they're still there. FAITH, HIPS, SCARS, STRENGTH, HOPE, COMFORTING are just some of them.
