Antique! Stunning! 1950's Hand-Painted Covered Milk Glass Jar for Sale! Really lovely hand painted covered milk glass jar, in excellent near mint condition by the Consolidated Glass shop Company. The jar has a tufted or quilted construction (pin-cushion) and was one of a series of Con Cora Regent Line jars that came with a choice of 6 different hand painted floral motifs, this one has a really beautiful rose sprig pattern. The Con Cora line was made by Consolidated and introduced in the 1950's, the mold was one that they had already used called, "Florette", which date back to 1894. The jar measures 6 1/2" tall by 4" diameter at the rim, it has no chips, cracks or other damage, there is virtually no wear to the painted floral decoration, and it displays beautifully and would be a fine addition to a collection. Great for trinkets, too.
