My dad bought this new when I was 12. 2 years later he upgraded and I got it and I've had it ever since. This was the very 1st compact compact disk player to come on the market. Supposedly "mobile", unless you walked really slowly and had the add on power pack this was for at home use. When they say they don't build them like this anymore they're referring to this CD player. It is built like a tank and, 37 years later, still works perfectly and sounds amazing. Hook this up to a quality sound system and you'll be impressed. Other than a few very minor scuffs it is in excellent condition (just take a look at the pics) and comes shop with the original power cord. A great Christmas present for any audiophile.
