Circa 1967-1969: This Homer Laughlin C-handled teapot was remodeled for the Amberstone line and used in the Sheffield grocery promotions shop. The Fiesta lid was changed to have a more rounded knob, as seen in this piece. This teapot has a glaze skip (pointed out) and a some minor scratches on the outside and inside. The lid seems to have a slightly lighter glaze on one side, when viewed from above. None of these minor imperfections were noticeable when I had it on display. The surface was reflecting the lights I was shining on it, so it looks like it has more imperfections than it does in regular lighting. The variations in the color are quite pretty in the Amberstone pieces. Please check the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. This vintage piece is sold as is.
