Not your mama's crafty basket- Affectionately named “Helena Hand Baskets” after Emperor Constantine's mother, St. Helena of the True Cross, this work of shop art is held together by tension weaving alone. No glue, no wire; hence its beautiful, naturally gnarled appearance. This is a large basket which is pretty sturdy and fairly lightweight. No two are alike! They make egg-cellent center pieces for the holiday and great conversation pieces the rest of the year.
