This is a very interesting vintage piece. Item had plastic torn on side of wrapping to test power. I made a hole in the plastic to also test the clock just in case. I would consider this open box quality, still in original plastic and styrofoam, but with plastic cut in a couple places. There does seem to be a nick near the hole on the back and a small nick on the top back. Everything works, clock runs on AA battery and motion, sounds, and light all work with plug in and switch on side. The clock glows in the dark, the ship, hands, and numbers. I have demonstrated with a black light in photos. This is a large one 29inx14in.
