Antique 1930's shop United Clock Co. FDR "The Man of the Hour " Statue Mantle Clock for SALE! Statue measures about 16” tall by about 10” wide Clock DOES NOT work! At least we can't get it to work. I'm sure it can be fixed, it might just be overwound. It can be wound but it doesn't start up. Clock is in pretty good shape, the art and everything. When the clock is working the arm of the sailor is supposed to turn the ships wheel. It has NOT been restored and is completely original!!! It shows it's age but it's still in decent shape and would make for a great display piece in someone's nautical themed room or presidential/Americana displays. He does have a green dot on the top of his head that I couldn't get out with just a wet rag. Not sure where it came from but it's only noticeable when looking down on the statue!
