Here is a beautiful, enameled brooch, depicting a beautiful butterfly, by Kenneth Jay Lane Jewelry. It is done in shop warm, autumn tones of beige, brown and orange on a gold-tone metal and accented with clear rhinestones. Kenneth Jay Lane has done numerous versions of butterflies and moths over his long career and this is one of his most lovely ones. It is featured in the book, Kenneth Jay Lane Fabulous, Jewelry & Accessories, by Nancy N. Schiffer, Copyright 2007, by Schiffer Publishing Ltd. on page 181. This piece is from the 2003 collection, in excellent condition and is signed "© KJL, CHINA." Brooch measures approximately 2 1/4 inches across, by 2 inches tall.
